American Electric Power announced plans to build a $20 million transmission regional distribution center on 100 acres in the county's Job Ready Site and Pataskala Corporate Park. Less than a year after announcing its plans, Amazon has opened a large-scale distribution center in Etna Township. Construction crews worked through the winter to erect the enormous center, which measures 800,000 square feet and stands on a nearly-100-acre site. To learn more, click here.
European logistics company Bleckmann plans to create 200 jobs in Johnstown starting in 2017. Bleckmann, which operates logistics and distribution services to retail and e-commerce industries, plans to invest $3.4 million in improvements to the interior of an existing building owned by Atrium at 188 Commerce Blvd. in the Johnstown Industrial Park.
